The TAC just finished up our (what has become) annual trip to Lance, Debie, and Alex Asher’s farm outside of Camden Point, MO. We had a great turnout as usual, and the Platte River once again provided us a muddy playground to spend the weekend tackling. TAC members and guests spent the weekend eating, of course, wheeling, and relaxing. All the while Mother Nature managed to leave us alone.
Our thanks to the Asher’s for opening up their home and farm to the club.
The next event on the books for the Tornado Alley Cruisers will be a long weekend at the Asher Farm outside of Camden Point, MO. Once again Lance, Debie, and Alex Asher have invited the club out to their farm for a few days of good food, relaxing, and playing (typically) in the mud near the Platte River bottoms.
Keep an eye on the discussions at our club forum on IH8MUD.com.
The last we heard the bridge going through Camden Point on the way to their house had been closed to traffic. We’ll post directions once we determine how the heck we are getting there.

This fall TAC will be joining forces with several other regional Toyota clubs to host the first TLCA-sponsored event outside of the Rubithon. You have probably heard or read about discussions on GATOR 2009, or more specifically, the Great American Toyota Offroad Rally 2009. We’ll be discussing our involvement in detail at the annual meeting.

May be old news to some, but the latest Toyota Trails has an awesome write-up for ‘07 TLCA Individual Memeber of the Year. Very cool, and very deserving just from what I’ve observed in my short time as a member. Plus it was interesting to see the beginnings of the 40, was that a high school pic?
Thanks for all you do and have done, and we’ll see ya on the trail. Oh, and nice shades BTW.
